The precedents of EPSEVG date back to 1901, as "Escola d'Arts i Oficis" (School of Arts and Crafts). The DAC began teaching at the EPSEVG in the 1993-94 academic year.

The DAC lecturers in the Bachelor Diploma in Computer Software Systems Engineering, the Bachelor Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, specialized in Electronic Systems and the Master Degree Programme in Automation and Industrial Electronics. The DAC is responsible for the following subjects:
